Project Nostalgia: Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo

St James’ Church, London

It’s hard to believe, but after tonight’s show Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo will officially be on a break. So this #ProjectNostalgia does indeed have an aura of nostalgia.  Remember the good times by checking out these photos taken at their last London show, including backstage and soundcheck action.

My first Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo concert was only two years ago yesterday, so I’m not best placed to write about the significance of the final tour.  I wouldn’t even be much good at interpreting the images – I don’t know why Anna was taking a photo of Emily’s bum (for posterior-ity? Ahaha!) or which technical kerfuffles were overcome.  So, I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.  For a full review, check out Helen Gregory’s piece at Folk Radio UK.

Thank you so much to Emily, Anna, Gill Jo, Howard & everyone else involved with Wednesday’s show, and all the others over the past 2 years. ‘Til soon x
